How to Get Your Android Phone Out of Safe Mode

One of my friends suddenly found that her phone had put itself in “safe mode”. She had no idea how she had done it and no idea how to get it out of that mode. After looking around on the internet, I found a solution that worked for her.

  1. Turn the phone off.
  2. Turn it back on and hold the “up” volume button.

Pretty easy, but it seemed to work for her.

    Lmao I never responded to anyone’s help blog but I am sooooooo thankful that this quick trick worked I had to let you know. It was driving me nuts. I have a HTC 4G LTE.

    For anyone that it didn’t work for, I would suggest that they keep trying… And be sure to continue to hold the up volume button and the power button until the safe mode disappears. I had to try 3x. I don’t care though it worked! Sprint told me to come in the store and to redownload all my apps that disappeared once safe mode came on. Thanks to Google and (Shaney) the person who figured it out and decided to post it!
    I looooove Google.

    It didnt work for me, but I just shut down all apps and rebooted the phone. This worked for my sister before, though

    Thankyou so much. SAFEMODE is horrible.. When i tried to turn off phone, it turned off but went into safemode. Couldnt figure out how to escape.
