One of my friends suddenly found that her phone had put itself in “safe mode”. She had no idea how she had done it and no idea how to get it out of that mode. After looking around on the internet, I found a solution that worked for her.
Pretty easy, but it seemed to work for her.

Same thing had pretty much happened to me: I was asleep, looked at my phone & it was in safe mode-no idea how it got turned on or how or what I had done; nothing that I know of. Omg thanks I was freaked out by ZERO APPS.
Omg , I Almost had a heart attack. My apps on my home page were still there but in my applications they were gone. I looked for help but all I found were unhelpful. Thanks so much for posting this because It worked. Have NO idea how it got on safe mode but this fixed it.

I didn’t have any clue this was even on my phone I have the samsung galaxy 3 I now know how this happend when turning my phone on I didn’t want to wake my husband up when I turn my phone on it rings a lot lol… so I tried to turn the volume down when I turned the phone on. And it put it in safe mode and thankfully you had this post on here to help me turn it off. Its cool to know about it so that my 5 year old can’t mess my phone up in the morning or delete any thing. Thank u so very much!!!!
