How to Get Your Android Phone Out of Safe Mode

One of my friends suddenly found that her phone had put itself in “safe mode”. She had no idea how she had done it and no idea how to get it out of that mode. After looking around on the internet, I found a solution that worked for her.

  1. Turn the phone off.
  2. Turn it back on and hold the “up” volume button.

Pretty easy, but it seemed to work for her.

    Safe mode is on the front of my cellphone I want it off my cellphone

    Worked on the wifes Motorola Electrify M but be sure to power the phone down not just shut it off.

    Thanks. It worked for me also. Galaxy i9000 (Slim Bean) safe mode to normal mode. Pressed Volume UP and Power button.

    I went to check the time on my Xperia t and most of my apps had disappeared and it said ‘safe mode’ at the bottom of the screen. Thanks for your advice it worked a treat :-)
