How to Get Your Android Phone Out of Safe Mode

One of my friends suddenly found that her phone had put itself in “safe mode”. She had no idea how she had done it and no idea how to get it out of that mode. After looking around on the internet, I found a solution that worked for her.

  1. Turn the phone off.
  2. Turn it back on and hold the “up” volume button.

Pretty easy, but it seemed to work for her.

Hope this helps!

IT WORKED!! Who woulda thought?? I couldn’t believe it, when, suddenly, “Safe Mode” appeared on my phone. I went through all settings & everything else I could think of. Nothing. Then, I thought to Google. SHAZAM!!! Yours was the first site listed. It just seemed to appear more legit than the others AND had THE question. SO…I Clicked On IT. Am I Glad I Did!! Thank you sooooo much!!!

This worked for me. No idea how it got in safe mode other than I had put on a new case. Must have pushed something. But glad the mystery is solved. Ashley, you have to hold it continuously as the phone is coming on, I believe. At least that is what I did. :)
