picopause [xviii]

A “picopause” is a little loving nudge towards simplicity and serenity.

There is probably something you did to contribute to the conflict, even if you didn’t start it. What was it? Was it a face you made? Or a tone you used? Certain words you chose?

How did your words or actions make the other person feel? You might not have intended to hurt the other person, but with the passage of time, are you now able to see how your actions might have resulted in causing the other person to react negatively?

What might happen if you — simply and without any ulterior motives — apologized to the other person for your part the next time you saw them?

I would love to get your feedback on my picopause articles in this very short survey.
