How to Embed Picasa Web Album Slideshows into WordPress.com Blogs

As an addendum to the post that I just wrote about adding a slideshow to your website, I would like to add some more information about adding a Picasa slideshow to a site that is hosted on http://www.wordpress.com.

It is not possible to embed Picasa slideshows into websites that are hosted on wordpress.com servers, but there is a workaround designed by VodPod. (Note that you can embed slideshows from other sources.)

See the VodPod Blog for instructions on how to get around this problem.

I would love to get your feedback on my picopause articles in this very short survey.

This is good however I tried many times without success, I copied my code from picasa, I go to edit my page, I put it into the page’s HTML, I can preview it by switching to Visual view, however it just can’t be saved, I’ve tried many times, it disappear when I update it. Can someone tell me why? Thanks.

If you are working with a WordPress blog, you are likely having trouble because WordPress doesn’t let you embed Picasa albums. In that case, please use the above VodPod workaround to fix your problem.
