picopause [vii]

A “picopause” is a little loving nudge towards simplicity and serenity.

Be really present with the people you encounter today.

Being really present means stopping what you are doing and really listening. And not “listening to think about what I’m going to say next”. Really listening, with your full attention. Once the person stops talking, you will figure out what you need to say. Or maybe you can just say nothing. That will probably encourage the other person to say more, which will improve your understanding of them, what they are trying to say, and their perspective.

This is a super power.

I would love to get your feedback on my picopause articles in this very short survey.
